How to assign a classification (IMM/DLM) in Capture

Capture makes it easy for users to mark and classify their notes in accordance with their
agency guidelines and legislative instruction. This feature ensures protected, sensitive or
privileged information can be classified and redacted with ease and peace of mind. To add a
classification to your note in the Capture Native Desktop Application, ensure you are logged
in and simply follow these steps:

1. Once you have finished creating your note and you have given your note an “Official
   Sensitive” or “Protected” Protective Marking, click on the IMM/DLM field.
   There are five Classifications offered within Capture , “Legal Privilege”, “Cabinet”,
   “Public Interest Immunity”, “Legislative Secrecy” and “Personal Privacy”.
   Note: You cannot apply a IMM/DLM Classification to a note that has been given a Protective
   Marking of “Official” or “Unofficial”.
2. Select your Protective Marking from the drop-down menu and click Done.
3. To save your IMM/DLM Classified Note, click on the SAVE icon in the bottom righthand corner of the screen.
