Welcome to Altia's Beta Program!
Thank you for your interest in joining Altia's Beta Program. Your organisation has now been enrolled in the program through your organisation's Altia Account Executive. Altia's Beta Program allows nominated organisations and its members access to Beta environments of Altia's software services (Beta Service or Beta Apps). These Beta Apps are intended to give users hands-on exposure to pre-release features, or simply a way to trial Altia's products and services. This article will provide basic instructions on Registering for an Altia Identity and Accessing Beta Apps.
Altia Transcribe and Altia Verinote are in the Beta Program. However, you will only have access to the Beta Service/Beta App you have registered for or are being nominated for through an Altia Account Executive. If you do not cannot access a Beta App that you wish to trial, let your Altia Account Executive know and they can make arrangements.
Beta Services (Beta Apps) have certain restrictions and limitations which are discussed at a high level in this article. It is important you read the restrictions and limitations. Access to, and use of Beta Services is by the Terms of the Beta Program available at the Altia Trust Center.
Registering your Altia Identity
Altia Identity is used to access Altia Transcribe and Altia Verinote environments, beta or not. If you have already registered an Altia Identity - if you have, you can skip the next part and go straight to the 'Accessing Connected Apps' section.
Altia Identity manages access to Altia's products and allows single sign-on through Microsoft/Azure Work Accounts and Google Workspace accounts. If you have neither, that's ok. You can create an account just with your email. But make sure it's the same email address Altia used to grant access to the Altia Beta Program (your work email, generally). Follow the instructions in the guide below to register your Altia Identity, and once it's done - come back to this email to find out how to access your Beta Apps.
Accessing Beta Apps
Once you have registered for Altia Identity through the instructions above, it's pretty simple. In a web browser, head to Altia Identity and sign in with your chosen method. Once you have signed in, click 'Connected Apps' on the left menu. On the Connected Apps screen will be the Altia products available to you, including any Beta Apps. View the guide below.
Beta/Trial App Restrictions
Customer Beta/Trial versions of Verinote and Transcribe are not for use in 'Real Life' situations. So make sure you only use 'fake', or specific information you're prepared to lose. Our Beta Program Terms can be found here.
Beta/Trial App Limitations
Beta Apps have limited functionality compared to the customer environments. This includes restrictions on 'sharing', 'collaboration', 'discovery & search' and the rich intelligence features that Transcribe and Verinote offer. An Altia Account Executive can explain the benefits offered in our customer environments if required.
Verinote Specific Login Instructions
YOU MUST COMPLETE THE BELOW STEPS ON A DESKTOP COMPUTER BEFORE BEING ABLE TO ACCESS VERINOTE MOBILE. Accessing Verinote for the first time will require you to follow the below guide; and if prompted for the Verinote URL use "beta.au.verinote.app". If you have any issues, please don't hesitate to contact Altia Support.
